NEWSPAPER TREE

I learned how to make this newspaper tree when I was a little girl, and I bet your students will get a kick out of it as well.

Open three sheets of newspaper and lay on the floor as shown.
 Roll up and tape.  Cut down several strips from the top about 8” long.  
Reach into the middle of the roll, grab the center, and slowly pull up.  Taa daa!
