Cut giant letters
out of heavy paper or poster board and let children decorate them with glitter,
stickers, fake jewels, etc. Punch
a hole in each letter and tie on a piece of string so it an be worn around the
neck. Children can wear these when
you sing alphabet songs and then break dance when the letter that they are
wearing comes up in the song.
Hint! You could let children decorate the
letter that their name begins with or just let everyone in the class choose a
different letter.
