DECK THE ROOM

How about using handprints to make a wreath or tree for your classroom door?

Hint!  Children could also dip their hands in green paint to make these decorations.

  1. We use paper plates and make the wreaths. We buy red velvet bows and use glitter for the berries. We make the wreaths for our local nursing home residents.

  2. We find that it is difficult for 3-4 year olds to cut out handprints. Any suggestions?

  3. I made the wreath with my first and second graders and it looks great!! I just pulled them aside during independent reading time and traced their hands and cut them out myself. Thanks for sharing! :)
